CEREMONY

Glasgow University Memorial Chapel is located within the main campus of Glasgow University on University Avenue (G12 8QQ).
We would kindly ask that guests are seated by 11.40am.

The walk from Glasgow University to Oran Mor (G12 8QX) is approximately 10 minutes. It is located at the top of Byres Road, across from Glasgow Botanic Gardens. The nearest car park to Oran Mor is Lilybank Gardens carpark and parking can be paid for using the Ringo app. Please be advised that parking in the West End on a Saturday in July may be limited. Alternatively, Uber in Glasgow is fairly reliable or you can book a black cab through Glasgow Taxis (0141 429 7070).

MENU

Starters

1) Scottish Tapas Trio (Warm Scottish goats cheese with whisky marmalade (v), Stornoway black pudding on a tattie scone with spiced apple chutney, Smoked salmon tartare with lemon and capers)
2) Slow roasted tomato and caramelised onion soup with garlic croutons (v, vg)
3) Spiced salmon and crab cakes with sweet chilli sauce and green leaf salad

Main Course

1) Chicken Breast of chicken stuffed with a basil, sun-blush tomato and homemade ricotta mousse, wrapped in pancetta served with a roast pepper sauce, potato dauphinoise and asparagus
2) Slow-cooked daube of beef, roasted garlic mash, pancetta, baby onions, braised red cabbage and broccoli
3) Aubergine and puy lentil daal with crispy vegetable tempura, flatbread and mango chutney (v, vg)

Dessert

1) Hot sticky toffee pudding, vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce
2) Baked apple served with lemon sorbet (vg)
3) A selection of Scottish cheese and biscuits served with quince, grapes
